This is a free service. We will meet personally, and go over the families individual situation, needs and current postpartum goals.
By choosing the care of a Postpartum Doula, you are making an investment in your family. Having hands-on, professional, in-home care far outweighs the value of the latest baby product on the market. We understand the investment you are making and we seek to provide you with the highest standard of care and support you as the primary caregiver. Ideally, having postpartum care is an option for every new family that needs support.
- We will help you arrange your care based on your needs and desires.
Fees are:
$45 assessment fee, a tour of the home, make recommendations for need and uses of supplies and equipment, set up breastfeeding stations, make plans for sleep areas, determine exact scheduling needs and give literature and resources for the immediate postpartum period based on individual evaluation. We will also put a postpartum plan into place.
$25/hour for days, anytime during the hours of 6am - 10pm
$225 each shift Overnight of 11pm-6am(overnight shift hours may vary)
- Day shift minimum of 4 hours
- Invoicing is done at the end of every week
- Your invoice will be emailed to you, or postal mailed, if you prefer.
- You may pay with cash, check or PayPal.
- We provide postpartum doula care for Austin and the surrounding areas. A travel fee may apply for extended travel.
**Request the gift of postpartum care from friends and family at your baby shower, at your baby moon, or from anyone else who wants to offer their help when your baby arrives.
**We recommend a minimum of forty days of postpartum care for healthy recovery, birth integration and bonding.
